VIDEO: A rescuer in training … born on 9-11, Luther will become a rescue dog
Firefighter Chris Martin knows his dog Luther is ready for rescuing survivors of major disasters. However, Martin will have to wait patiently, dedicating hundreds of hours to training his new purebred German Shepherd puppy, until Luther is at least 18 months old. From there, the two can test so Luther can become an official member of Florida’s Urban Search and Rescue, Task Force Six.
