Yeah… i agree theres no need to beat them senseless or break their spirit, but i do give a smack across the haunches or face, large breeds have large pain tolerances but theres no need for a grown mans full strength, at the same time the dog needs consequences
@meyarz
I grew up raising boxers with my stepfather and I always wanted a Rottie…so I now have one and I have to say that he is absolutely the best dog I’ve ever had. I have owned big and small dogs but my Rottweiler (Maximus is his name) has been a good dog! That said, he has had his moments and you are right in that Rotties are very headstrong dogs.
i just got my rottie puppy 3 days ago she loves to play and very aggrasive but i love her she is very very very highly energenic but i cant get her walking on a leash she always pulls and wants to go everywhere else can you help me Message me if so [;

@FightUforReal You shall ALWAYS allow yourself to be bitten by your Rottweiler… ALWAYS!
thing is can anyone actually really violently shake a rottweiler lol kinda hard a big muscular 10 stone dog haha
really great vid thoo
@FightUforReal never violently shake a dog ive never even thought of that
Our Rottie male is VERY mellow compared to how our Lab was as a pup. He is very headstrong and likes to “test”… I would reccomend frequent outtings where you take your Rot walking and meeting other dogs/owners. I also take him out to “people watch” at an outdoor mall as he likes visual stimulation more than running and chasing balls like our lab… Great personality and a real character!
i just got a rotti puppy. she’s not horribly behaved but sge could be better

does any1 know where i could get one
can a rottweiler, learn that easily??..
Great video and solid advice. Thanks!
I always found my first Rottweiler a beautiful and loyal companion – but he was always agressive to strangers because we had originally bought him as a gaurd dog. Its amazing how quickly they turn their guard down when they recongise the person is known to the family. Naturally well-mannered and friendly dogs.
